  1. CVE-2026-99057 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/netfront: don't leak the skb when xennet_fill_frags() fails When a response chain has more slots than fit in the skb's frags, xennet_fill_frags() returns an error and xennet_poll() jumps to its error path. That path moves what's left on tmpq to errq to be freed, but the skb being filled was already dequeued from tmpq, so it's never freed. Each chain that overflows leaks the skb and the pages attached to it as frags, and the backend decides how many slots it sends. Put the skb back on tmpq before taking the error path, like the xennet_set_skb_gso() failure just above it does.

  2. CVE-2026-98900 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/gntalloc: validate grant count before allocation gntalloc_ioctl_alloc() allocates the grant-id array before checking whether the requested count fits within the global grant limit. Counts above that limit cannot succeed, so reject them before the user-controlled allocation reaches kcalloc(). Use a subtraction-based check while holding gref_mutex so adding the requested count cannot wrap. Also cast the count before advancing the per-file index so the page-size multiplication is performed in 64-bit arithmetic.

  3. CVE-2026-113610 5.4 Moyenne

    vatesfr xen-orchestra

Xen Orchestra before 6.9.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the xo-server user.set API method that allows low-privileged authenticated users to modify other users' preferences by supplying an arbitrary target user id. Attackers can delete the preferences.otp TOTP secret to disable two-factor authentication, corrupt it to block logins, or overwrite stored xsCredentials and sshKeys.

  4. CVE-2026-110775 6.5 Moyenne

    ModelEngine-Group nexent

Nexent through 2.7.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in check_file_access that allows authenticated users to read other tenants' knowledge-base files by skipping tenant comparison for knowledge_base/ reads. Attackers in multi-tenant deployments can list objects via GET /file/storage for presigned URLs or use GET /file/download/{object_name} to download other tenants' source documents.

  5. CVE-2026-102479 5.9 Moyenne

    Eclipse Foundation Eclipse Vert.x · Eclipse vert.x

In Eclipse Vert.x versions [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Vert.x HTTP/1.x decoder uses a canonicalization for well known HTTP headers, the canonicalization process interprets well crafted headers as headers of this list, allowing for instance Content-Xength to be interpeted as Content-Length. This can be exploited for request smuggling purpose. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-core.

  6. CVE-2026-98390 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/amd_node: Avoid divide by zero on virtualized systems On a virtualized system, the number of nodes does not have a relationship to the number of roots. A Xen PVH dom0 can calculate roots_per_node as 0, which crashes with a divide by zero in: if (count++ % roots_per_node) because the underlying topology code on Xen ends up making num_nodes 2 and num_roots 1 and the integer division result is 0. The issue is seen with Xen, but it could affect other systems. Set roots_per_node to 1 in this case. Print a firmware bug when this is performed for non-virtualized systems. 7. CVE-2026-110111 7.5 Élevée

    vatesfr xen-orchestra

Xen Orchestra before 6.9.0 contains an improper access control vulnerability that allows any authenticated user to become global administrator by abusing the unprotected vm.importFromEsxi and vm.importMultipleFromEsxi methods. Attackers can point xo-server at a malicious ESXi host serving a crafted .vmx file with __proto__.permission set, polluting Object.prototype so permission-less accounts inherit admin rights and enabling remote code execution.

  8. CVE-2026-79611 5.5 Moyenne

    Xen

For XSA-308 logic was introduced, as VMX VMEntry checks do not like the exact combination of state which occurs when #DB in intercepted, Single Stepping is active, and blocked by STI/MovSS is active, despite this being a legitimate state to be in. The resulting VMEntry failure is fatal to the guest. Sadly there is another special sub-case of the above, with branch tracing enabled. In that case the prior adjustment would still cause a VMentry failure, as before fatal to the guest.

  9. CVE-2026-79610 8.8 Élevée

    Xen

XSA-501 was about issues with v1 -> v2 and v2 -> v1 changes racing certain other grant table operations. Sadly a v2 -> v1 -> v2 change has yet another effect which wasn't accounted for: During the first change, status pages would be freed. During the second change they would be allocated again. Hence across the full pair of change the addresses of the status pages may change, rendering stale previously calculated pointers into the status array.

  10. CVE-2026-79609 8.8 Élevée

    Xen

XPTI (Xen Page Table Isolation) was introduced to mitigate Meltdown (CVE-2017-5754, one aspect of XSA-254). This involves copying 64-bit PV guest page table entries from guest-chosen root page tables to the Xen- chosen one which is in actual use by hardware. To read the guest root page table, the directmap is used. PV guests, however, have a directmap which may not cover all memory; in particular this is the case if any memory extends beyond the 5 TiB (CONFIG_BIGMEM=y: 3.5 TiB) address boundary.

  11. CVE-2026-79608 9.8 Critique

    Xen

The workaround for XSA-433 (Zenbleed, CVE-2023-20593) was later re-worked to better integrate with other manipulations of the same MSR. In this rework an inverted conditional was introduced, resulting in the workaround to not be applied when needed and vice versa. For more details, see: http://xenbits.xen.org/xsa/advisory-433.html

  12. CVE-2026-79607 5.5 Moyenne

    Xen

During Xenstore live update the state record for a Xenstore watch with specified watch depth is written with two bytes missing. This results in an inconsistent state when reading the state back in the new Xenstore, causing a crash of Xenstore or wrong Xenstore data.

  13. CVE-2026-102702 7.5 Élevée

    Xen

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] 1) XSA-437 (CVE-2023-34321) addressed issues with overflows in calculations involved in guests flushing caches through GNTTABOP_cache_flush. Unfortunately the fix there introduced a calculation which may underflow, resulting in a loop which would - at least on 64-bit Arm - take excessively long, and which would likely eventually crash the hypervisor. This is CVE-2026-102699. 2) GNTTABOP_cache_flush may be issued on memory mapped from another domain using the grant table interface. However there was no restriction to disallow the use of invalidate-without-clean against read-only grant mappings, which may corrupt the granted memory. This is CVE-2026-102702.

  14. CVE-2026-102700 4.7 Moyenne

    Xen

With its original introduction, GNTTAB_cache_flush was made available uniformly. XSA-232 (CVE-2017-14318) then covered an omitted NULL pointer check, yet the addition of that check failed to adjust the subsequent error path. That error path fails to drop a page reference in case the specified page is owned by a special system domain (DOM_IO and DOM_COW are system domains which can have memory pages assigned to them.)

  15. CVE-2026-102699 7.5 Élevée

    Xen

  16. CVE-2026-98375 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/netfront: drop RX packets with a short Ethernet header handle_incoming_queue() pulls pull_to bytes into the head before calling eth_type_trans(). pull_to is the length of the first RX slot, capped at RX_COPY_THRESHOLD, and that length comes from the backend. Nothing checks it against ETH_HLEN. If the first slot is shorter than ETH_HLEN and more slots follow, the head ends up shorter than an Ethernet header while skb->len is longer, and eth_type_trans() BUG()s in __skb_pull(). If the whole packet is shorter than ETH_HLEN, eth_type_trans() reads the header past the end of the data instead. Pull at least ETH_HLEN, and drop the packet if that fails, which also drops packets too short to hold an Ethernet header. This also checks the return value of the pull, which was ignored.

  17. CVE-2026-76146 8.4 Élevée

Genians, Inc Genian SSL PNS (xenics_auther)

An OS command injection vulnerability in Genian SSL PNS allows an attacker who knows only the client access ID, without the password, to execute arbitrary commands remotely

  18. CVE-2026-98156 7.8 Élevée

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/virtio: use the DMA API for resource backing on Xen On a Xen PV domain page addresses bear no relation to the real machine addresses the host would have to use to reach it. virtio_ring.c handles this correctly, vring_use_map_api() returns true for any xen_domain() regardless of VIRTIO_F_ACCESS_PLATFORM. virtio-gpu makes the same decision independently, but its copy looks only at the feature bit: bool use_dma_api = !virtio_has_dma_quirk(vgdev->vdev); QEMU does not set iommu_platform on virtio-vga by default, so VIRTIO_F_ACCESS_PLATFORM is not negotiated, use_dma_api is false, and virtio_gpu_object_shmem_init() describes the framebuffer's backing pages to the host with sg_phys(). Those are guest-physical addresses. In a PV domain they resolve, on the host side, to pages belonging to some other domain, so the host scans out unrelated memory. Move the decision into virtio_gpu_use_dma_api() and give it the xen_domain() check, like vring_use_map_api() has. This additionally enables the dma_sync_sgtable_for_device() calls in virtgpu_vq.c, which are required for correctness whenever swiotlb is in play. Reproduced with a Xen 4.21 PV dom0 nested inside QEMU 8.2 with virtio-vga, on both a distro 6.8 kernel and 6.18 LTS. A PVH dom0 works fine and doesn't need this fix because it is identity-mapped, only PV dom0s are affected.

  19. CVE-2026-54583 8.3 Élevée

    MidnightBSD mport

mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. Prior to 2.7.8, libmport/fetch.c did not consistently reject empty, dot, dot-dot, or slash-containing bundle filenames before composing package download and write paths. Malicious package index data could place an unsafe value in indexEntry->bundlefile, and the missing is_valid_bundle_filename() checks allowed downloaded package data to be written outside the intended cache location or to an unsafe destination name. This issue is fixed in version 2.7.8.

  20. CVE-2026-89725 8.8 Élevée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: cec: stm32: prevent out-of-bounds write on RX overflow stm32_rx_done() appends each received CEC byte to rx_msg.msg[] using rx_msg.len as the write index, incrementing it on every RXBR (receive-byte-ready) interrupt without checking it against the buffer size: cec->rx_msg.msg[cec->rx_msg.len++] = val & 0xFF; rx_msg.msg[] is a fixed CEC_MAX_MSG_SIZE (16) byte array in struct cec_msg, and rx_msg.len is only reset on RXACKE/RXOVR or after a completed message (RXEND). The number of bytes received before RXEND is decided by the remote CEC device (it sets EOM), not by the driver. A peer that keeps sending bytes without ending the message drives RXBR repeatedly, pushing rx_msg.len past 16 and writing peer-controlled bytes out of bounds into the surrounding memory. This is reachable in normal operation once the driver has probed and receiving is enabled, from the IRQ thread, without any local privilege. The length check in the CEC core runs on the consumer side, after the byte has been stored, so it does not prevent the overflow. Bound the index in the driver before the store, as the other platform CEC drivers already do (e.g. tegra_cec), dropping the excess bytes of an overlong frame. Found by static analysis tool CodeQL.

  21. CVE-2026-74239 7.2 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the style archive importer on Windows deployments that allows authenticated non-super administrators with style permissions to write arbitrary files outside the intended extraction directory by using backslash-based traversal sequences in ZIP member names. Attackers can craft a malicious ZIP archive with backslash path separators that bypass forward-slash validation to write arbitrary bytes to any web-server-writable path, including the public web root, achieving persistent code execution as the web-server account.

  22. CVE-2026-73321 6.5 Moyenne

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the BBCode parser that allows authenticated attackers to cause persistent denial of service by submitting a post with deeply nested BBCode tags. Attackers can craft a single malicious post with sufficient nesting depth to exceed PHP's stack limit, causing fatal errors that repeatedly terminate PHP-FPM workers for all visitors rendering the affected thread.

  23. CVE-2026-73320 6.1 Moyenne

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an unauthenticated information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to retrieve private unfurl records by supplying predictable auto-increment primary key IDs to the unfurl endpoint. Attackers can enumerate or predict result IDs and query the endpoint without any session, user, or visibility checks to obtain rendered preview HTML, original URLs, and query strings from private conversations and other restricted content.

  24. CVE-2026-73319 6.1 Moyenne

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the dynamic redirect handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the board origin by crafting a malicious javascript: URI that bypasses host validation. Attackers can embed the board hostname in the URI authority component and use percent-encoded newlines to evade server-side filters, causing authenticated users who perform a Follow action to execute attacker-supplied JavaScript in their browser.

  25. CVE-2026-73318 3.8 Faible

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the force-agreement controller that allows any ACP administrator to access and submit force-agreement forms regardless of their assigned permissions. Attackers can bypass the option permission declared in the navigation configuration to update the global policy last-updated timestamp, forcing all users to re-agree to the privacy policy or terms of service.

  26. CVE-2026-73317 2.7 Faible

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the ACP cache-rebuild dispatcher that allows limited administrators with only the rebuildCache permission to perform unauthorized approval queue actions by supplying an arbitrary job class and actor user ID in the POST body. Attackers can invoke the approval queue job under any user identity to approve queued user registrations without holding the required approval-queue or moderator permissions, causing the moderation log to attribute actions to an impersonated account.

  27. CVE-2026-73316 7.5 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a payment replay vulnerability in the PayPal REST payment provider that allows attackers to process the same webhook payload multiple times by exploiting a missing duplicate transaction ID check. Attackers can replay a valid webhook payload to trigger duplicate payment events, resulting in repeated subscription activations and unauthorized account upgrades.

  28. CVE-2026-73315 8.6 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the PayPal REST webhook handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to cause the server to make outbound HTTP requests to arbitrary destinations by supplying a crafted certificate URL in webhook headers without scheme, hostname, or allowlist validation. Attackers can submit a crafted POST to the PayPal webhook callback endpoint to reach internal network resources including cloud instance metadata services, potentially disclosing IAM credentials or enabling secondary internal service exploitation.

  29. CVE-2026-73314 7.5 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a signature verification logic error in the PayPal REST webhook handler that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass payment signature validation by submitting a webhook request with an unsupported auth_algo header value. When the algorithm cannot be mapped to a supported hash function, the verification function incorrectly returns true instead of failing, causing the caller to treat the fabricated request as verified and process the payment event without a valid PayPal signature.

  30. CVE-2026-73313 8.1 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a multi-factor authentication bypass vulnerability in the passkey TFA provider that allows an authenticated attacker to complete login as another user by submitting their own registered passkey credential during the WebAuthn assertion step. The passkey verification path performs a global credential lookup without validating that the matched credential belongs to the user whose login is pending, enabling an attacker who knows a target account's password to sign the challenge with their own passkey and bypass multi-factor authentication on both public forum and ACP login paths.

  31. CVE-2026-73312 7.4 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains a refresh token replay vulnerability that allows attackers to reuse a refresh token multiple times by exploiting the failure to mark tokens as consumed when the parent access token has expired. Attackers can repeatedly submit the same refresh token to generate additional independent token pairs, achieving persistent unauthorized access for the token's full lifetime.

  32. CVE-2026-73311 7.4 Élevée

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an OAuth2 authorization code reuse vulnerability that allows attackers to obtain unauthorized token pairs by submitting a previously used authorization code. Attackers can exploit the failure to invalidate or mark authorization codes as consumed after initial token issuance to receive an independent token pair for the same user and scopes, bypassing the single-use guarantee of the OAuth2 authorization code flow.

  33. CVE-2026-73310 5.9 Moyenne

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an authorization flaw in the OAuth2 token endpoint that allows attackers controlling any allowlisted redirect URI to bypass redirect URI binding by submitting a different allowlisted URI than the one recorded at authorization time. Attackers can exchange an intercepted authorization code using a mismatched redirect URI to steal OAuth2 tokens from intercepted authorization flows.

  34. CVE-2026-73309 9.1 Critique

    XenForo · Xenforo xenforo

XenForo before 2.3.13 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the OAuth2 token endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain valid token pairs by submitting empty values for client_secret and code_verifier parameters. Attackers can exploit PHP truthy evaluation logic, which treats empty strings as false and skips client secret validation and PKCE code verifier validation, to exchange a valid authorization code for a token pair without proving client identity or holding the PKCE commitment.

  35. CVE-2026-79603 4.3 Moyenne

    Xen

x86 PV guests can free memory pages while still keeping a stale TLB entry pointing to them. A TLB flush is only issued by Xen (if needed) when the page is re-used. Since it's possible for the page to be scrubbed ahead of the TLB flush, there's a window where a PV guest can modify an already scrubbed page.

  36. CVE-2026-79602 8.8 Élevée

    Xen

A guest with a PCI device assigned that has at least a BAR on the IO port space can trigger a BUG() in Xen.

  37. CVE-2026-62437 6.5 Moyenne

    Xen

When guests are terminated, various pieces of cleanup need carrying out. The cleaning up of PCI devices which were assigned to guests, and the associated removal of tracking structures for IRQs used by the devices occurs relatively early in the process. Unfortunately after that point the guest about to be terminated could cause its device model (DM) to re-establish such tracking structures, by having it bind one or more IRQs anew. While some of those tracking structures would still be cleaned up later on, at least one would not be.

  38. CVE-2026-81726 7.0 Élevée

    nltk · Nltk nltk

NLTK through 3.10.3 contains a path traversal vulnerability in model-artifact APIs that bypass pathsec enforcement by using raw file operations on caller-controlled paths. Attackers can read or write files outside allowed sandbox roots through TransitionParser, AveragedPerceptron, PerceptronTagger, and maxent parameter APIs when pathsec is enabled.

  39. CVE-2026-77648 2.2 Faible

    OpenStack Glance

In OpenStack Glance through 32.0.0, the /v2/tasks API accepts type=import tasks that bypass import_filtering_opts, allowing an admin to fetch internal URLs from the Glance service network (aka SSRF), as long as https:// or http:// is used. This API has been available only to admins since Xena, and it has been deprecated for several releases.

  40. CVE-2026-45274 6.9 Moyenne

    PoxenStudio talebook

MyBooks is anebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the SignUp.post handler for POST /api/user/sign_up in webserver/handlers/user.py does not enforce the ALLOW_REGISTER configuration flag, even though the frontend hides registration controls when the flag is false. An unauthenticated remote attacker can call the endpoint directly and create a valid account on an instance whose administrator disabled public registration. The process_auth_header function in webserver/handlers/base.py also does not verify the account's active flag, so the newly created and unactivated account can authenticate immediately and access user-level API functionality. The bypass defeats the intended account-creation policy and can supply the low-privilege account required by related authorization vulnerabilities. This issue is fixed in version 3.42.0.

  41. CVE-2026-45273 8.7 Élevée

    PoxenStudio talebook

MyBooks is an ebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the AdminSettings.post handler for POST /api/admin/settings in webserver/handlers/admin.py applies the auth decorator but does not check the self.admin_user property, unlike the corresponding GET handler. Any authenticated regular user can therefore overwrite server configuration values including SMTP credentials, OAuth client secrets, storage paths, security feature flags, and autoreload settings. The process_auth_header function in webserver/handlers/base.py also fails to verify the matched account's active flag, allowing a registered but unactivated account to authenticate and reach the vulnerable handler. Exploitation can disclose secrets through configuration access paths, sabotage application behavior, force service restarts, and supply the settings needed for related code-injection attacks. This issue is fixed in version 3.42.0.

  42. CVE-2026-45272 9.4 Critique

    PoxenStudio talebook

MyBooks is an enhanced and easy-to-use personal ebook management web server also known as Talebook. In 3.41.2 and earlier, the AdminSettings.post handler in webserver/handlers/admin.py accepts SOCIAL_AUTH key names without validating quotes or newline characters, and SettingsLoader.dumpfile in webserver/loader.py concatenates those names into the generated Python source file auto.py without escaping them. An administrator can submit a crafted SOCIAL_AUTH key name that closes the settings dictionary and injects arbitrary Python statements. The application later executes those statements because SettingsLoader.loadfile imports auto.py as a module, and setting autoreload to true invokes restart_async so a process supervisor restarts the service and triggers the import. Successful exploitation executes commands with the privileges of the application service account and can disclose data, modify files, establish persistence, or disrupt the service. Related authorization and registration vulnerabilities can reduce the effective privilege requirement in a chained attack, but the standalone vulnerability requires administrator access. This issue is fixed in version 3.42.0.

  43. CVE-2026-72380 8.8 Élevée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/pvcalls: bound backend response req_id before indexing rsp[] pvcalls_front_event_handler() takes req_id directly from the backend-supplied ring response and uses it to index the fixed-size bedata->rsp[] array for a memcpy() and a store, with no range check. A malicious or buggy backend can set req_id past PVCALLS_NR_RSP_PER_RING and drive an out-of-bounds write past the bedata allocation. req_id was also declared int while the wire field rsp->req_id is u32, so a range check on the signed value alone is insufficient: a backend req_id of 0xffffffff becomes -1, passes a >= PVCALLS_NR_RSP_PER_RING test and indexes bedata->rsp[-1]. Declare req_id as u32 so a single bound covers both ends. A backend that sends an out-of-range req_id has violated the wire protocol, so rather than silently dropping the response, log once and stop trusting the backend: set bedata->disabled. The event handler then ignores further responses, and the request paths that wait for a response return -EIO instead of blocking forever. This mirrors the fatal-error handling xen-netback uses (xenvif_fatal_tx_err()). The pvcalls frontend currently trusts its backend, so this is not a classic-Xen security issue, but it matters for hardening PV frontends against malicious backends (confidential and disaggregated deployments).

  44. CVE-2026-72197 8.4 Élevée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound DeleteIndexEntryAllocation memmove length In do_action()'s DeleteIndexEntryAllocation case, e->size comes from an on-disk INDEX_BUFFER entry. When e->size makes e + e->size point past hdr + hdr->used, PtrOffset(e1, Add2Ptr(hdr, used)) returns a negative ptrdiff_t that is silently cast to a quasi-infinite size_t when passed to memmove(). The memmove then walks past the destination buffer. The sibling DeleteIndexEntryRoot case at fslog.c:3540-3543 already carries the corresponding guard: if (PtrOffset(e1, Add2Ptr(hdr, used)) < esize || Add2Ptr(e, esize) > Add2Ptr(lrh, rec_len) || used + esize > le32_to_cpu(hdr->total)) { goto dirty_vol; } Apply the same shape to the allocation-path case. Also reject esize == 0: memmove(e, e, ...) is a no-op and leaves hdr->used unchanged, hiding a malformed entry from the existing check_index_header() walk. Reproduced under UML+KASAN on mainline 8d90b09e6741 by mounting a crafted NTFS image: the unguarded memmove takes a length of 0xffffffffffffff00 and the kernel oopses in memmove+0x81/0x1a0 on the do_action+0x36a2 frame. [almaz.alexandrovich@paragon-software.com: clang-formatted the changes]

  45. CVE-2026-72138 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/gntdev: fix error handling in ioctl When gntdev_ioctl_map_grant_ref() fails to copy the operation result back to userspace after successfully adding the mapping to the list, the error path returns -EFAULT without releasing the reference acquired by gntdev_alloc_map(). The mapping remains in priv->maps with a refcount of 1, causing a memory leak and a dangling list entry. Additionally, gntdev_add_map() may modify map->index to avoid overlap with existing mappings. Therefore, the index returned to userspace must be obtained after gntdev_add_map() completes. Fix this by holding the mutex across gntdev_add_map(), retrieving the correct index, and copy_to_user(). If copy_to_user() fails, remove the mapping from the list and release the reference while still holding the lock. Fix these issues by properly handling all error cases.

  46. CVE-2026-72086 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: xen: scsiback: Free the command tag on the TMR submit-failure path scsiback_device_action() obtains a command tag in scsiback_get_pend_req() and submits a task-management request with target_submit_tmr(). When target_submit_tmr() fails it returns < 0 and scsiback jumps to the err: label, which sends a response but frees nothing, leaking the tag. Impact: a pvSCSI guest can leak the command tags of a LUN's session, stopping the LUN, by issuing VSCSIIF_ACT_SCSI_ABORT or RESET requests whenever target_submit_tmr() fails. transport_generic_free_cmd() cannot be used here. By the time target_submit_tmr() returns an error it has already run __target_init_cmd() (so se_cmd->cmd_kref is one, not zero), and on its target_get_sess_cmd() error path it has freed se_cmd->se_tmr_req via core_tmr_release_req() while leaving SCF_SCSI_TMR_CDB set and the pointer dangling. Letting the command release run target_free_cmd_mem() would then double-free se_tmr_req. Use the same helper, which returns just the tag, on this path too.

  47. CVE-2026-72085 9.3 Critique

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: xen: scsiback: Free unsubmitted command instead of double-putting it scsiback_get_pend_req() obtains a command tag and returns a vscsibk_pend whose embedded se_cmd has only been memset to 0, so its cmd_kref is 0; the se_cmd is initialised (kref_init() via target_init_cmd()) only later, in scsiback_cmd_exec(), on the successful VSCSIIF_ACT_SCSI_CDB path. The two error paths in scsiback_do_cmd_fn() taken before the command is submitted -- a failed scsiback_gnttab_data_map() and an unknown ring_req.act -- call transport_generic_free_cmd(&pending_req->se_cmd, 0), which kref_put()s a refcount of 0. That underflows it ("refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free") and, as the release function is not run, leaks the command tag. Impact: a pvSCSI guest can leak every command tag of a LUN's session, stopping the LUN, by submitting requests with a bad grant reference or an unknown request type; under panic_on_warn the refcount underflow panics the host. Add a helper that just returns the tag with target_free_tag() and sends the error response. It frees the tag while the v2p reference still pins the session, and snapshots the response fields beforehand because freeing the tag can let another ring reuse the pending_req slot.

  48. CVE-2026-68092 – Non évaluée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: time/jiffies: Register jiffies clocksource before usage Teddy reported that a XEN HVM has a long boot delay, which was bisected to the recent enhancements to the negative motion detection. It turned out that the jiffies clocksource is used in early boot before it is registered, which leaves the max_delta_raw field at zero. That causes the read out to be clamped to the max delta of 0, which means time is not making progress. Cure it by ensuring that it is initialized before its first usage in timekeeping_init().

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] With the introduction of Grant Table v2 came the requirement to be able to switch between versions. Switching from v1 to v2 reduces the number of valid grant references, as a bigger shared entry structure is then needed while the shared table doesn't change size. Switching from v2 back to v1 the status frames, which are separate in v2, go away. Code holding, but intermediately dropping and then re-acquiring the grant table lock, sometimes wrongly assumes that said properties wouldn't change across the window in time where the lock is not being held. The v1 -> v2 issue is CVE-2026-62435. The v2 -> v1 issue is CVE-2026-62436.

Addressing certain issues, in particular related to operations which may take excessively long and therefore would need preemption, has turned out overly costly. Since alternatives (HVM/PVH: HAP, PV: shim) are commonly available, the decision was to deprecate the functionality, while still retaining it for people to use at their own (security) risk. Memory-wise small enough guests may still be okay to run.

Xenstore, to have an up-to-date picture of the entire system, wants to know of domains appearing and disappearing. To make this more robust, a new XEN_DOMCTL_get_domain_state was introduced. The management of the bitmap underlying that operation is tied into the binding of the VIRQ_DOM_EXC virtual IRQ. Unfortunately an error path there would tear down the bitmap even in cases when it wasn't set up. Unprivileged domains can trigger that error path.

A crafted NTFS image with DPT entry lcns_follow=1 and an action log record with lcns_follow=2 produces a kernel slab out-of-bounds write at mount time: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in log_replay+0x654c/0xdb60 Write of size 8 at addr ffff8880095e1040 by task mount Two attacker-controlled fields can drive j+i past the allocated page_lcns[] array: 1. dp->lcns_follow (capacity) can be smaller than lrh->lcns_follow. 2. lrh->target_vcn may be smaller than dp->vcn, making the u64 subtraction wrap to a huge size_t. Validate target VCN delta and per-record LCN count against the DPT entry capacity, bail via the existing out: cleanup label with -EINVAL. This mirrors the bounds-check pattern added in commit b2bc7c44ed17 ("fs/ntfs3: Fix slab-out-of-bounds read in DeleteIndexEntryRoot") and commit 0ca0485e4b2e ("fs/ntfs3: validate rec->used in journal-replay file record check").

This causes the database's event thread to terminate and cease further processing. 2. XAPI's UTF-8 encoder implements v3.0 of the Unicode spec, but XAPI uses libraries which conform to the stricter v3.1 of the Unicode spec. This causes some strings to be accepted as valid UTF-8 by XAPI, but rejected by other libraries in use. Notably, such strings can be entered into the database, after which the database can no longer be loaded. 3. There is no input sanitisation for Map/Set updates on objects in the XAPI database.

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] To create and manage guests, domctl operations are used by the control domain, a possible Xenstore domain, or by a domain controlling a particular guest. Some of these operations may not be executed in parallel, so a system-wide lock is used. The way that lock is acquired is, however, not providing any fairness. This is CVE-2026-42489. Furthermore, with XSM/Flask in use, the lock acquire will, for some operations, occur ahead of any permission checking. This is CVE-2026-42490.

    Xen

Some shadow paging errors paths will switch the page-tables without updating the currently running vCPU reference. This causes a mismatch between the loaded page-tables and the mapcache metadata which can lead to corruption of the mapcache.

  85. CVE-2026-42487 7.9 Élevée

    Xen

HVM guest I/O port accesses are subject to either emulation or at least translation. Translations are managed by the device model (via XEN_DOMCTL_ioport_mapping), and hence the linked list used may changed at any time. Traversal of those lists (while handling guest I/O port accesses) therefore needs synchronizing with updates, which was missing so far.

  86. CVE-2026-45935 7.8 Élevée

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Fix slab-out-of-bounds read in DeleteIndexEntryRoot In the 'DeleteIndexEntryRoot' case of the 'do_action' function, the entry size ('esize') is retrieved from the log record without adequate bounds checking. Specifically, the code calculates the end of the entry ('e2') using: e2 = Add2Ptr(e1, esize); It then calculates the size for memmove using 'PtrOffset(e2, ...)', which subtracts the end pointer from the buffer limit. If 'esize' is maliciously large, 'e2' exceeds the used buffer size. This results in a negative offset which, when cast to size_t for memmove, interprets as a massive unsigned integer, leading to a heap buffer overflow. This commit adds a check to ensure that the entry size ('esize') strictly fits within the remaining used space of the index header before performing memory operations.

  87. CVE-2026-45890 5.5 Moyenne

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen-netback: reject zero-queue configuration from guest A malicious or buggy Xen guest can write "0" to the xenbus key "multi-queue-num-queues". The connect() function in the backend only validates the upper bound (requested_num_queues > xenvif_max_queues) but not zero, allowing requested_num_queues=0 to reach vzalloc(array_size(0, sizeof(struct xenvif_queue))), which triggers WARN_ON_ONCE(!size) in __vmalloc_node_range(). On systems with panic_on_warn=1, this allows a guest-to-host denial of service. The Xen network interface specification requires the queue count to be "greater than zero". Add a zero check to match the validation already present in xen-blkback, which has included this guard since its multi-queue support was added.

  89. CVE-2026-23558 7.8 Élevée

    Xen · Xen xen

The adjustments made for XSA-379 as well as those subsequently becoming XSA-387 still left a race window, when a HVM or PVH guest does a grant table version change from v2 to v1 in parallel with mapping the status page(s) via XENMEM_add_to_physmap. Some of the status pages may then be freed while mappings of them would still be inserted into the guest's secondary (P2M) page tables.

Any guest can cause xenstored to crash by issuing a XS_RESET_WATCHES command within a transaction due to an assert() triggering. In case xenstored was built with NDEBUG #defined nothing bad will happen, as assert() is doing nothing in this case. Note that the default is not to define NDEBUG for xenstored builds even in release builds of Xen.

  94. CVE-2026-31216 9.1 Critique

    Nexent nexent

The nexent v1.7.5.2 backend service contains an unauthorized arbitrary storage file deletion vulnerability in its file management API. The DELETE /storage/{object_name:path} endpoint lacks authentication, authorization, and input validation mechanisms. Unauthenticated remote attackers can send crafted requests with a user-controlled object_name path parameter to delete arbitrary files from the underlying MinIO storage system. Successful exploitation leads to data loss and denial of service.

  95. CVE-2026-31215 9.1 Critique

    Nexent nexent

The nexent v1.7.5.2 backend service contains an unauthorized arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in its ElasticSearch service interface. The DELETE /{index_name}/documents endpoint lacks proper authentication and authorization controls and does not validate the user-supplied path_or_url parameter. This allows unauthenticated remote attackers to send crafted requests that trigger the deletion of arbitrary documents from ElasticSearch indices and corresponding files from the MinIO storage system. Successful exploitation leads to data destruction and denial of service.

  97. CVE-2026-31716 7.8 Élevée

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: validate rec->used in journal-replay file record check check_file_record() validates rec->total against the record size but never validates rec->used. The do_action() journal-replay handlers read rec->used from disk and use it to compute memmove lengths: DeleteAttribute: memmove(attr, ..., used - asize - roff) CreateAttribute: memmove(..., attr, used - roff) change_attr_size: memmove(..., used - PtrOffset(rec, next)) When rec->used is smaller than the offset of a validated attribute, or larger than the record size, these subtractions can underflow allowing us to copy huge amounts of memory in to a 4kb buffer, generally considered a bad idea overall. This requires a corrupted filesystem, which isn't a threat model the kernel really needs to worry about, but checking for such an obvious out-of-bounds value is good to keep things robust, especially on journal replay Fix this up by bounding rec->used correctly. This is much like commit b2bc7c44ed17 ("fs/ntfs3: Fix slab-out-of-bounds read in DeleteIndexEntryRoot") which checked different values in this same switch statement.

  98. CVE-2026-31787 7.8 Élevée

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xen/privcmd: fix double free via VMA splitting privcmd_vm_ops defines .close (privcmd_close), but neither .may_split nor .open. When userspace does a partial munmap() on a privcmd mapping, the kernel splits the VMA via __split_vma(). Since may_split is NULL, the split is allowed. vm_area_dup() copies vm_private_data (a pages array allocated in alloc_empty_pages()) into the new VMA without any fixup, because there is no .open callback. Both VMAs now point to the same pages array. When the unmapped portion is closed, privcmd_close() calls: - xen_unmap_domain_gfn_range() - xen_free_unpopulated_pages() - kvfree(pages) The surviving VMA still holds the dangling pointer. When it is later destroyed, the same sequence runs again, which leads to a double free. Fix this issue by adding a .may_split callback denying the VMA split. This is XSA-487 / CVE-2026-31787
