  1. CVE-2026-104003 5.4 Moyenne

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The WP User Avatar / ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary Shortcode Execution in versions up to, and including, 4.17.5. This is due to the get_user_profile_structure() function assembling the front-end profile buffer — which includes raw comment excerpts inlined by author_comment_query() — and passing the entire buffer to do_shortcode() after only a narrow neutralization pass (ppress_neutralize_buffer_shortcodes) that blocks pp-custom-html and bracket fragments containing HTML delimiters but leaves any other well-formed shortcode intact. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary shortcodes (from any active plugin or theme) with attacker-chosen attributes by posting a comment whose body contains the shortcode markup; the shortcode is then executed server-side when any visitor loads the target's front-end profile Comments tab, letting the attacker reach capability-gated or data-returning shortcodes and inject raw HTML markup into a publicly viewable page.

  2. CVE-2026-96518 5.9 Moyenne

    properfraction ProfilePress

Missing Authorization vulnerability in properfraction ProfilePress wp-user-avatar allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects ProfilePress: from n/a through 4.17.3.

  3. CVE-2026-96337 6.5 Moyenne

    properfraction ProfilePress

Missing Authorization vulnerability in properfraction ProfilePress wp-user-avatar allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects ProfilePress: from n/a through 4.17.3.

  4. CVE-2026-92551 6.1 Moyenne

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via ppress_billing_address Filename Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. The vulnerability is exploitable via any page hosting the ProfilePress Tabbed Widget by supplying a malicious filename for the ppress_billing_address file upload field in a crafted POST request.

  5. CVE-2026-92536 8.8 Élevée

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.4 via the get_user_profile_structure. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract other users' email addresses, login names, and registration dates via the Member Directory's per-row user rebinding when attacker-controlled base64 payloads in the [pp-custom-html] shortcode invoke [profile-email], [profile-username], and [profile-date-registered]. When the WordPress users_can_register option is enabled, unauthenticated attackers can also exploit this vulnerability by supplying the split shortcode fragments through the plugin's own registration handler, which processes the reg_nickname and reg_bio fields without a nonce requirement.

  6. CVE-2026-85658 8.1 Élevée

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.2 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes.

  7. CVE-2026-66047 8.1 Élevée

    Proper Fraction ProfilePress

ProfilePress (wp-user-avatar) WordPress plugin before 4.17.2 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to install and activate arbitrary plugins by brute-forcing a weak 32-bit connect token via the ppress_connect_process AJAX handler. Attackers can supply a caller-controlled URL through the file request parameter to trigger silent plugin installation and activation, achieving PHP code execution as the web-server user.

  8. CVE-2026-18385 5.4 Moyenne

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.19. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The partial mitigation introduced via strip_shortcodes() on [profile-first-name] and [profile-last-name] can be bypassed through the [profile-display-name format="first_last_names"] render path, the [profile-bio] render path (which re-fetches the raw description meta), and the double-bracket escape sequence [[tag]], all of which allow attacker-controlled shortcode text to reach the outer do_shortcode() call.

  9. CVE-2026-13352 8.8 Élevée

properfraction Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress

The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 4.16.18 via the allowed_mime_types function. This is due to the unconditional registration of an upload_mimes filter that adds executable file extensions (.exe, .apk, .msi) to the global WordPress MIME allowlist, without scoping the expansion to digital-product upload contexts. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This filter is registered globally on every request regardless of whether the digital products feature is configured or in use, meaning the expanded MIME allowlist affects all WordPress upload contexts site-wide.

  10. CVE-2026-41556 6.5 Moyenne

    properfraction ProfilePress

Subscriber Cross Site Scripting (XSS) in ProfilePress <= 4.16.13 versions.
