  1. CVE-2026-110974 6.3 Moyenne

    vaadin android-json

The org.json parser in com.vaadin.external.google:android-json recurses once per nesting level with no depth limit: JSONTokener.nextValue() calls readArray() and readObject(), which call nextValue() again. A deeply nested JSON document, around 20 KB of nested arrays with the default thread stack, makes the JSONArray and JSONObject constructors throw a raw java.lang.StackOverflowError instead of a JSONException. Any application that parses untrusted JSON with this library can be made to fail the thread doing the parsing. The artifact is a 2013 repackage of third-party org.json classes, published once and never maintained, and no fixed version will be released. Users of the affected version should apply the following mitigation. Product version com.vaadin.external.google:android-json 0.0.20131108.vaadin1 Mitigation No fixed version will be released. Replace the artifact with an org.json implementation that limits the nesting depth, such as org.json:json 20231013 or later. 2. CVE-2026-104635 8.2 Élevée

    elixir-protobuf protobuf

Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Protobuf.JSON.Decode in elixir-protobuf protobuf allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the decoding process via a deeply nested JSON document. Any application that decodes attacker-supplied JSON with Protobuf.JSON.decode/3, Protobuf.JSON.decode!/3, or Protobuf.JSON.from_decoded/3 into a schema that contains a self-referential or cyclic message type is affected. In lib/protobuf/json/decode.ex, the embedded-message clause of decode_singular/3 recurses into internal_from_json_data/3 once per nesting level without incrementing or checking the decoder's depth counter. The depth guard increase_depth_and_maybe_throw/1 covers only the Google.Protobuf.ListValue and Google.Protobuf.Struct clauses, so the recursion_limit option has no effect on user-defined message types. Each nesting level allocates a stack frame and heap objects, and a sufficiently deep document exhausts the memory of the decoding process. Confidentiality and integrity are not affected. This issue affects protobuf: from 0.8.0 before 0.17.1.

  3. CVE-2026-54451 8.2 Élevée

    elixir-protobuf protobuf

Elixir protobuf is a pure Elixir implementation of Google Protobuf. From 0.8.0 until 0.16.1, services that decode attacker-controlled protobuf bytes with Protobuf.Decoder can be taken offline when the schema contains a self-referential or cyclic message type. In lib/protobuf/decoder.ex, Protobuf.Decoder.value_for_field/3 handles an embedded?: true field by recursively entering the decode / build_message / handle_value / value_for_field call chain without enforcing a nesting-depth limit. Deeply nested embedded fields retain non-tail recursive frames, allowing a comparatively small request to consume substantial CPU and memory, pin a BEAM scheduler, and exhaust the node. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.1.

  4. CVE-2026-89418 8.7 Élevée

Google protobuf-javascript (aka google-protobuf npm package)

google-protobuf contains an unbounded recursion when parsing unknown protobuf group fields. An attacker can send a small crafted payload of deeply nested START_GROUP wire bytes to any Node.js service that calls the generated deserializeBinary() API, causing a RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded and crashing the process. No authentication or prior knowledge of the schema is required.

  5. CVE-2026-58755 6.7 Moyenne

    Google Android

In smmu_install_nested_ste of arm-smmu-v3.c, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.

  6. CVE-2026-58718 6.7 Moyenne

    Google Android

In smmu_detach_dev_nested of arm-smmu-v3.c, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to improper input validation. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.

  7. CVE-2026-19201 7.5 Élevée

    Google go-attestation

An uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the Windows SIPA event log parser of Google go-attestation versions up to and including 0.6.1 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS). The (*WinEvents).readELAMAggregation function recurses for every nested elamAggregation sub-event without enforcing a maximum recursion depth limit, while the size guard is bypassed on recursive execution paths. By submitting a crafted Windows event log containing deeply nested elamAggregation headers, an attacker can exhaust the goroutine call stack, triggering an unrecoverable fatal runtime error (stack overflow) that immediately crashes the verifier application.

  8. CVE-2025-36939 5.7 Moyenne

Google Nest · Google nest wifi router firmware · Google nest wifi point firmware · Google nest wifi pro firmware

Multiple vulnerabilities exist in OpenThread's handling of MLE packets. An authenticated attacker on the same Thread network could send specially crafted packets to cause a denial of service. These issues include triggerable assertion failures and a stack-based buffer overflow.

  9. CVE-2026-74516 8.2 Élevée

    Linux

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Update x2APIC MSR intercepts if AVIC is inhibited while L2 is active Always update x2APIC MSR intercepts for L1 when AVIC is deactivated, even if L2 is active and KVM is using a separate MSR bitmap to run L2. If AVIC is fully enabled prior to running L2, and is then inhibited while L2 is active (for a VM-scoped inhibit), then KVM will run L1 with AVIC disabled, but with x2APIC MSR intercepts disabled, i.e. will allow L1 to read most of the host's APIC state, send arbitrary interrupts, change task priority, and ultimately trivially DoS the host. E.g. sending a self-IPI in L1 on HYPERV_REENLIGHTENMENT_VECTOR, 0xee, with CONFIG_HYPERV=n in the host kernel as a "safe" PoC, yields: Spurious interrupt (vector 0xee) on CPU#425. 10. CVE-2026-53260 9.8 Critique

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Add preempt_{disable,enable}_nested() in reqsk_queue_hash_req(). syzbot reported a weird reqsk->rsk_refcnt underflow in __inet_csk_reqsk_queue_drop(). The captured reqsk_put() in __inet_csk_reqsk_queue_drop() is called only when it successfully removes reqsk from ehash. Moreover, reqsk_timer_handler() calls another reqsk_put() after that. This indicates that the reqsk was missing both refcnts for ehash and the timer itself. Since all the syzbot reports had PREEMPT_RT enabled, the only possible scenario is that reqsk_queue_hash_req() is preempted after mod_timer() and before refcount_set(), and then the timer triggered after 1s aborts the reqsk due to its listener's close(). Let's wrap mod_timer() and refcount_set() with preempt_disable_nested() and preempt_enable_nested(). Note that inet_ehash_insert() holds the normal spin_lock() (mutex in PREEMPT_RT), so it must be called outside of preempt_disable_nested(), but this is fine. The lookup path just ignores 0 sk_refcnt entries in ehash and tries to create another reqsk, but this will fail at inet_ehash_insert(). [0]: refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. 11. CVE-2026-53259 7.8 Élevée

    Linux · Linux linux kernel

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: anycast: insert aca into global hash under idev->lock syzbot reported a splat [1]: a slab-use-after-free in ipv6_chk_acast_addr(), which walks the global inet6_acaddr_lst[] hash under RCU and dereferences a struct ifacaddr6 that has already been freed while still linked in the hash, so a later reader walks into a dangling node. In __ipv6_dev_ac_inc() the aca is allocated with refcount 1, then aca_get() bumps it to 2 to keep it alive across the unlocked region. It is published to idev->ac_list under idev->lock, but ipv6_add_acaddr_hash() runs after write_unlock_bh(). A concurrent teardown (ipv6_ac_destroy_dev() from addrconf_ifdown(), under RTNL) can slip into that window: CPU0 __ipv6_dev_ac_inc CPU1 ipv6_ac_destroy_dev (RTNL) ------------------------------ ------------------------------------ aca_alloc() refcnt 1 aca_get() refcnt 2 write_lock_bh(idev->lock) add aca to ac_list write_unlock_bh(idev->lock) write_lock_bh(idev->lock) pull aca off ac_list write_unlock_bh(idev->lock) ipv6_del_acaddr_hash(aca) hlist_del_init_rcu() is a no-op, aca is not in the hash yet aca_put() refcnt 2->1 ipv6_add_acaddr_hash(aca) aca now inserted into the hash aca_put() refcnt 1->0 call_rcu(aca_free_rcu) -> kfree(aca) The hash removal becomes a no-op because the insertion has not happened yet, so once CPU0 inserts and drops the last reference, the aca is freed while still linked in inet6_acaddr_lst[], and readers dereference freed memory after the slab slot is reused. This window opened once RTNL stopped serializing the join path against device teardown. Move ipv6_add_acaddr_hash() inside the idev->lock section so the ac_list and hash insertions are atomic with respect to teardown: a racing remover now either misses the aca entirely or finds it in both lists. acaddr_hash_lock is now nested under idev->lock, which is acquired in softirq context, so switch all acaddr_hash_lock sites to spin_lock_bh() to avoid the irq lock inversion reported in [2]. 12. CVE-2026-48712 7.5 Élevée

protobufjs protobuf.js · Protobufjs project protobufjs

protobufjs compiles protobuf definitions into JavaScript (JS) functions. Prior to 7.6.1 and 8.4.1, protobufjs could recurse without a depth limit while converting decoded messages to plain objects or JSON. This affected generated toObject() conversion and the custom google.protobuf.Any JSON conversion path. A crafted protobuf binary payload containing deeply nested Any values could cause the JavaScript call stack to be exhausted during conversion to JSON. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.6.1 and 8.4.1.
