CVE-2026-92162 7.2 Élevée
flatpak
Flatpak is a system for building, distributing, and running sandboxed desktop applications on Linux. Prior to version 1.18.1, on systems where at least one OCI remote is configured (most common on Fedora systems), a malicious local user in an active local session could use a crafted architecture name to trick the `flatpak-system-helper` process into creating a root-owned directory tree with contents determined by the OCI remote, plus a root-owned `lock` file and `icons` directory, outside the intended root directory. If this vulnerability is combined with other vulnerabilities also fixed in 1.18.1, the combination can lead to local root privilege escalation. This particular vulnerability is not believed to be exploitable if there are no OCI remotes configured (common on non-Fedora systems). Version 1.18.1 patches the issue.

CVE-2026-104046 6.2 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). When Identity Provider (IdP) authentication is enabled, pre-authentication requests retain state in memory without being cleared or timed out. A local attacker can repeatedly initiate authentication flows without completing them, causing unbounded memory consumption. This memory exhaustion can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by degrading or terminating SSSD authentication services.
-
CVE-2026-104045 4.7 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service.
-
CVE-2026-104048 8.1 Élevée
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. In trust-enabled identity management environments, SSSD evaluates Host-Based Access Control (HBAC) rules by stripping domain qualifiers and comparing only short usernames. An authenticated user in a trusted domain who shares the same username as an authorized local account can bypass access policies and gain unauthorized access to protected services or hosts.
-
CVE-2026-104047 5.3 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory.
-
CVE-2026-88252 5.5 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed.

CVE-2026-98215 – Non évaluée
Linux
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: preserve user SID across nested backing files SELinux saves the user file SID in a backing-file security blob so it remains available after mmap() replaces vma->vm_file with a backing file. For nested backing files (overlayfs over overlayfs, or FUSE passthrough backed by overlayfs), user_file may itself be a backing file. Its fsec->sid is the SID of the mounter that opened it, rather than the user that opened the top-level file. mprotect() then checks fd { use } against the mounter SID. This can incorrectly deny access without a domain transition, or check the wrong target SID after one. Copy the saved user SID when user_file is a backing file. Keep using the regular file SID for the first backing layer. With two nested overlayfs mounts and SELinux enforcing, mprotect(PROT_READ) returns EACCES with an fd { use } denial against the mounter SID. With this change, mprotect() succeeds. Tested on arm64 QEMU with a small BusyBox initramfs and a purpose-built SELinux policy. The original test was also repeated with Fedora Cloud Base 44 userspace and gave the same result.

CVE-2026-104040 6.1 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population.

CVE-2026-94422 8.8 Élevée
Fedora · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10
An incorrect implementation of message filtering in xdg-dbus-proxy versions before 0.1.9 allows an attacker to bypass the intended message filtering on the D-Bus session bus by setting a reply serial number on non-reply messages. A malicious or compromised Flatpak app could use this to achieve arbitrary code execution outside its sandbox. xdg-dbus-proxy was designed to be part of the sandbox boundary for Flatpak, but it is released as a separate project and is sometimes used by other app frameworks such as Firejail.

CVE-2026-97025 3.2 Faible
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
Flatpak writes the OCI repository authentication token with world-readable permissions (0644) in the system-helper's cache directory, allowing other local users on a multi-user system to read the token and impersonate the authenticated user against the OCI repository. Only OCI-based sources (e.g. as used by Fedora) are affected; libostree-based sources such as Flathub are not.

CVE-2026-90462 5.4 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the LDAP access provider and `ldap_access_order` including `ppolicy` or `lockout`, a fail-open condition in the LDAP ppolicy access check can occur if a user lookup returns zero results. This can incorrectly return success and cache an allow decision, permitting continued authorization for a deleted or deprovisioned user. A remote attacker with prior valid account context could exploit this to maintain access to information and potentially make limited modifications to resources that should no longer be available.

CVE-2026-90189 – Non évaluée
Linux
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: null_blk: register configfs subsystem after creating default devices In null_init(), configfs_register_subsystem() currently runs before register_blkdev(), so when null_blk is built as a module, a racing mkdir() + poweron from userspace can reach null_add_dev() while null_major is still 0. __add_disk() then hits WARN_ON(disk->minors) (major=0 with minors!=0) and fails: [root@fedora ~]# [ 2366.521436] WARNING: block/genhd.c:476 at __add_disk+0x8a7/0xde0, [ 2366.523552] Modules linked in: null_blk(+) nft_fib_inet nft_fib_ipv4 nft_fib_ipv6 nft_fib [ 2366.529081] CPU: 26 UID: 0 PID: 1600 Comm: sh Not tainted 7.2.0-rc1+ #66 PREEMPT(full) ...... Additionally, the err_dev path destroys all devices on nullb_list while configfs is still registered. If a racing mkdir() + poweron puts a user device on the list, null_destroy_dev()->null_free_dev() kfrees the user device's nullb_device but /sys/kernel/config/nullb/<name> is still reachable. Any userspace access to the item will trigger a UAF. For simplicity, move configfs_register_subsystem() to the end to solve the problems above.

CVE-2026-19816 7.1 Élevée
Fedora · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
A flaw was found in PackageKit. PackageKit skips the polkit authorization check for transactions carrying the SIMULATE (dry-run) flag. In the dnf5 backend, the RepoRemove handler ignores that contract and always executes the real transaction because its guard is written as (role == REPO_REMOVE || !SIMULATE), which is always true for RepoRemove. An unprivileged local user can therefore perform a genuine package uninstall while claiming to simulate. This vulnerability only affects systems using PackageKit with the dnf5 backend.

CVE-2026-19624 7.8 Élevée
Fedora · Fedora Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL)
A flaw was found in NetworkManager-l2tp. The plugin writes attacker-controlled VPN connection properties (vpn.data and vpn.secrets values) unescaped into a generated ipsec.conf file that pluto loads as root. A local unprivileged user can create and activate their own L2TP VPN profile containing a newline-injected leftupdown directive; pluto executes that command as root when the IKE security association is established, resulting in local privilege escalation. This is the same bug class as CVE-2018-10900 (NetworkManager-vpnc).

CVE-2026-90995 5.5 Moyenne
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). A local attacker with privileges to connect to the PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) responder socket can send a specially crafted protocol request. If the `pam_app_services` configuration is enabled and the service item is omitted from the request, a NULL pointer dereference can occur. This vulnerability leads to a denial of service, causing the PAM responder to crash and disrupt authentication services.

CVE-2026-77118 8.4 Élevée
GraphicsMagick Group GraphicsMagick · Debian graphicsmagick · Fedora Project GraphicsMagick
A heap out-of-bounds write exists in the Photo CD (PCD) decoder of GraphicsMagick. In DecodeImage() (coders/pcd.c), the Huffman delta loop advances its output pointer with q++ after every decoded delta and never checks it against the end of the heap-allocated luma/chroma plane buffers. The pointer is repositioned only when a sync marker introduces a new plane/row; between sync markers the run length is bounded solely by the input. A crafted PCD file that positions the pointer near the end of a plane and then supplies a long run of deltas with no intervening sync therefore walks the pointer past the end of the allocation and writes through it. Processing an untrusted PCD file — for example with gm convert or gm identify, or through any application linked against libGraphicsMagick — can corrupt heap memory beyond the buffers.

CVE-2026-72193 – Non évaluée
Linux
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: cap RESTART_TABLE free-chain walker at rt->used A crafted NTFS3 disk image triggers an in-kernel infinite loop at mount time, hanging the mounting thread and firing the soft-lockup watchdog within ~22s on multi-CPU hosts (panic with kernel.softlockup_panic=1). The bug is reachable from desktop USB auto-mount on distributions where udisks2 routes the NTFS signature to the in-tree ntfs3 driver (Arch family and an increasing fraction of Fedora / openSUSE / RHEL deployments); CAP_SYS_ADMIN-class manual mount elsewhere. check_rstbl()'s second walker iterates the free-entry singly-linked list headed by rt->first_free with no upper bound on iteration count: for (off = ff; off;) { if (off == RESTART_ENTRY_ALLOCATED) return false; off = le32_to_cpu(*(__le32 *)Add2Ptr(rt, off)); if (off > ts - sizeof(__le32)) return false; } The existing guards cover three exits: end-of-list (off == 0), the in-use marker (off == RESTART_ENTRY_ALLOCATED), and out-of-bounds (off > ts - sizeof(__le32)). None of the three prevents an in-bounds cycle. A crafted on-disk RESTART_TABLE whose free chain contains a self-loop or A->B->A cycle whose offsets satisfy: - in range [sizeof(struct RESTART_TABLE), ts - sizeof(__le32)] - (off - sizeof(struct RESTART_TABLE)) % rsize == 0 passes all existing guards and spins the mount-time thread forever. Reproduced in UML by hand-forging a 2 MB NTFS3 image whose journal RESTART_TABLE first_free = 0x18 and whose entry at offset 0x18 stores 0x18 as its next pointer; mount of the forged image with the in-tree ntfs3 driver never returns. Bound the walker by rt->used. Each entry on a legitimate free chain is unique, and the total slot count is ne = le16_to_cpu (rt->used). A traversal that visits more than ne slots is by construction malformed; reject it as a corrupt RESTART_TABLE. After this patch, mount of the forged image returns with -EINVAL and a log_replay failure message, and mkntfs-produced legitimate images mount cleanly (verified in the same UML harness).

CVE-2026-68743 7.1 Élevée
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 · Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
A flaw was found in SSSD. The extract_authtok_v1() function in the PAM responder does not validate the auth_token_length field against the remaining buffer size before processing. A local attacker can exploit this via a crafted protocol v1 request to the PAM responder socket, causing an out-of-bounds read and process crash, resulting in a denial of service.
