CVE-2026-48809 7.5 Élevée
miguelgrinberg python-engineio
python-engineio is a Python implementation of the Engine.IO realtime client and server. Versions prior to 4.13.2 have two specific configurations of the python-engineio server in which the size of incoming messages is not checked before the messages are loaded into memory. An attacker can take advantage of these to cause unnecessary memory allocations in the python-engineio server. The two cases are POST requests, when using ASGI with the long polling transport and WebSocket messages, when using Aiohttp with the WebSocket transport. Version 4.13.2 addresses this issue. ASGI severs now only load the body of incoming requests into memory after the client is confirmed to be known and authenticated, and the payload size is below the maximum allowed size. Requests that do not comply with these requirements are discarded. Aiohttp servers configure the maximum payload size in the underlying WebSocket layer from Aiohttp, so that large messages are discarded by Aiohttp before they are delivered to python-engineio.

CVE-2026-48802 7.5 Élevée
miguelgrinberg python-engineio
python-engineio is a Python implementation of the Engine.IO realtime client and server. Prior to version 4.13.2, an attacker can cause the creation of unnecessary background threads in the python-engineio server by exploiting the heartbeat mechanism, which launches a thread when a new connection is received, and when the client sends a PONG packet. This issue primarily affects synchronous servers. Asynchronous servers allocate background tasks instead of physical threads, which are lightweight and less likely to cause denial of service. However, the fix that was implemented was also applied to the asynchronous case. Version 4.13.2 addresses this issue as follows: The initial background thread (or async task( for heartbeat management is only launched if a client passes authentication in the `connect` handler; and the server now ensures that there is only one background heatbeat thread (or async task) per client at a given point in time. Out of sequence PONG packets are now discarded when an active heartbeat thread is already running.

CVE-2026-49825 8.2 Élevée
lxml · fedora-python lxml_html_clean
lxml is a library for processing XML and HTML in the Python language. Prior to 6.1.1, link attributes in ``lxml.html.defs.link_attrs`` were missing ``xlink:href``, which can be used for URL bypass attacks in embedded SVG/MathML/etc. content. This vulnerability was fixed in lxml 6.1.1 and lxml_html_clean 0.4.5.

CVE-2026-68939 2.0 Faible
pyenv
Pyenv provides simple Python version management. Prior to 2.8.0, is_version_safe() in libexec/pyenv-version-file-read accepts shell glob metacharacters in .python-version values, and unquoted PYENV_VERSION expansion in libexec/pyenv-version-name, libexec/pyenv-which, libexec/pyenv-prefix, libexec/pyenv-local, libexec/pyenv-global, libexec/pyenv-version, and libexec/pyenv-versions pathname-expands the value against the current directory, allowing a matching attacker-controlled file to silently select a different installed interpreter or version. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.

CVE-2026-87819 7.5 Élevée
gitpython-developers GitPython · Gitpython project gitpython
GitPython before 3.1.60 contains a regular expression denial of service vulnerability in Actor.name_email_regex that processes commit author and committer fields. Attackers can craft a commit object with a malformed author field containing an unterminated angle bracket to cause quadratic backtracking, exhausting CPU resources for over two minutes per commit access.

CVE-2026-92943 8.1 Élevée
AWSIoTPythonSDK
Improper validation of certificate with host mismatch in the MQTT client TLS connection layer in AWS IoT Device SDK for Python 1.5.3 through 1.6.0 on Python 3.7 and later might allow an adversary-in-the-middle actor to impersonate the AWS IoT Core endpoint, read device telemetry, and inject arbitrary MQTT messages that the device processes as authentic, via a certificate issued for an unrelated hostname by a certificate authority present in the device trust store. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.6.1.

CVE-2026-70491 6.5 Moyenne
open-webui · Openwebui open webui
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. In 0.10.2 and earlier, the GET /api/v1/tools/, GET /api/v1/tools/list, and GET /api/v1/tools/id/{id} endpoints in backend/open_webui/routers/tools.py returned full Python tool source to authenticated non-admin read-only users. ToolResponse deliberately omitted source and specs, but ToolUserResponse permitted extra fields and handlers spread a full tool model dump into the response, re-admitting omitted fields. A non-admin with a read grant can obtain another user's server-side tool source, which commonly embeds hard-coded API keys, credentials, and internal service URLs. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

CVE-2026-70493 6.5 Moyenne
open-webui · Openwebui open webui
Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.6 until 0.11.0, the built-in knowledge search path in backend/open_webui/tools/knowledge_fs.py and backend/open_webui/tools/builtin.py let a chat participant choose a pattern used to grep knowledge files. Patterns containing regex metacharacters were compiled with Python's backtracking re engine and run against every line of every reachable file with no time limit, so a crafted pattern such as (x|x)*y and one matching uploaded file line can pin one CPU core and block the event loop. This causes availability impact for every other user of the affected worker. This issue is fixed in 0.11.0.

CVE-2026-86792 8.8 Élevée
Apache Software Foundation Apache Airflow Apache Kafka provider · Apache apache-airflow-providers-apache-kafka
Apache Airflow Apache Kafka provider versions 1.15.0 before 2.0.0 resolve dotted-path strings found in a Kafka connection's `extra` field into Python callables via `import_string`, with no allowlist, and hand them to the confluent-kafka client which invokes them. Deployments that have enabled the Kafka event producer — `dag_run_events_enabled` or `task_instance_events_enabled`, both disabled by default — build that client inside the scheduler process, so a user whose only privilege is editing Airflow connections gains arbitrary code execution in the control plane; the Airflow security model limits connection-configuration users to code execution on workers, not the scheduler. Deployments using Google Managed Kafka are not affected, because that code path overwrites any user-supplied `oauth_cb`; plain brokers and Amazon MSK are exposed. Users are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-apache-kafka 2.0.0 or later, which adds an allowlist configuration option for connection-string callbacks.
